Well Child Check-Ups

Well-child visits are a good time to focus on your child’s wellness. Talking about ways to improve care and prevent problems helps keep your child healthy. Be sure to find out more information about: Sleep, Safety, Childhood diseases, and what to expect as your child grows.

Acute Illness

Children get sick more frequently but less severely than adults. They are not yet immune to the many germs waiting for them in our environment, but their young bodies are in many ways stronger and more resilient than an adult’s.

Chronic Illness

Ten to twenty million children and adolescents in the United States have some form of chronic illness or disability. Chronic refers to a health condition that lasts anywhere from three months to a lifetime.

James H. Lin, MD, received his Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Duke University, and his Medical Degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
